Four silver-handled canes / walking sticks Print The first: late 19th century, ebonized walking stick, with a crook handle gilt and niello-inlaid with geometric and floral designs, with horn tip (36'' H x 4.625'' W x 1'' D); the second: 1996, London, maker's marks of Asprey & Co. Ltd., sterling silver horse head handle (36.625'' H x 4.375'' W x 1.125''); the third: third quarter 20th century, Milano, with unidentified maker's marks, further marked: 73g, .800 silver crook handle with chased and repousse-decorated foliate design, ebonized walking stick (35.875'' H x 4.75'' W x .75'' D); the fourth: second half 20th century, German, with crescent and crown mark and maker's marks of Arthur Mohrle, Schwabisch Gmund, sterling silver with repousse scrolling strapwork and foliate designs, horn tip (35.875'' H x 4.625'' W x .75'' D), 4 pieces Provenance: The Estate of Tammis Day, Sula, MT. Condition: Each in overall good condition with scattered scatches and scuffs commensurate with age. The first with an approximately .5''-long gouge to horn tip. The second and third with rubber tips. Handle of the second somewhat separated from stick.
