Laid into Sombrero Fallout is a handwritten presentation note on the letterhead of Jonathan Dolger, Vice president and managing editor at Simon and Schuster, that reads: "For Richard--- Another addition to your set---Best wishes for the holidays---Fondly J!" These copies gifted to Brautigan by Simon and Schuster are particularly desirable due to their strong association and the fact that each book is the only copy in existence. A terrific group of unique author copies. Lot Amendments Condition: Inoffensive bumps to the top corners of Hawkline Monster and Loading Mercury, small faint stain to bottom edge of textblock of Loading Mercury; else fine.
