Francis Bacon Three Studies for a Self-Portrait (cf. S. 15) three lithographs printed in black and dark green on one sheet, 1981, on Arches wove paper, signed in pencil, inscribed and numbered A First state 1/2 , a working proof before most colours and before the edition of 150 (there were also ten artist's proofs and 25 hors commerce impressions), with the Arts-Litho blindstamp and published by Éditions de la Différence, Paris, with margins, probably the full sheet, a deckle edge at right, pale scattered foxing, framed L. 324 x 280mm. (each), S. 471 x 1035 mm.
