Uniform contemporary French blue half calf (scuffed, extremities rubbed, corners bumped, inner hinge of atlas cracked). PROVENANCE: Henry White (Sydney, bookplates). A complete set of the 'Historical' part of the official narrative of this important voyage. Freycinet issued an imperial 2° atlas under the sub-heading Navigation et Géographie , with 32 charts, in 1812. A 4° text volume (also Navigation et Géographie ) followed in 1815.
