(Folding plans with slight fraying at edges, some light browning, Xxx3 marginal tear repaired). 19th-century calf (some staining). FIRST EDITION. The anonymous published work as been ascribed to the London booksellers J. Wright and John Almon. It gives a detailed description of the campaigns in North America from 1755 to 1763, ("Origin of the troubles in North America" p.1) and includes accounts of the battles of Cape Breton and Quebec. Illustrated with folding plates including views of Louisburg, Montreal and Havanna, and a folding map of the East Coast.
