Post-war French officer's Foreign Legion uniform belonging to Ferdinand Otto Miksche (1904-1992), a Czech Captain and military historian, awarded the Medal of Freedom and Order of the Colonial Empire, and the author of a number of works on European military history. Uniform with epaulettes, ribbons and gold buttons reading 'Legion Etrangere'. Complete with cap lacking badge, with skull and crossbones drawn on in marker pen.
