FREUD, Sigmund (1856-1939). Der Witz und seine Beziehung zum Unbewussten . Leipzig and Vienna: Karl Prochaska in Teschen for Franz Deuticke, 1905. 8° (226 x 153mm). Contemporary cloth-backed boards, large paper spine label. Provenance : Dr. Dumeng Bezzola (1868-1936; a few notations). FIRST EDITION of Freud's 'major contribution to the subject of aesthetics.
