He described the psychological processes and techniques of jokes, which he likened to the processes and techniques of dreamwork' (Stanford). All works in this lot were originally owned by the Swiss psychiatrist and contemporary of Freud, Dr. Dumeng Bezzola, who developed his own cathartic treatment called psychosynthesis. Both works are annotated by Bezzola and bound uniformly in contemporary half leather, interleaved (spines sunned).
