Freud, Sigmund Typed letter signed ("Prof. Freud"), in German, to the Germanist Pieter Smink ("Sehr geehrter Herr"), about his work "massenpsychologie und ich-analyse", discussing a proposed Dutch translation, asking him to write to his publisher for the conditions, requesting that he inform him of the name of the intended translator, as he cannot authorise a translation by somebody he does not know, and suggesting, finally, that he approach Dr J. van Emden in the Hague, who can either supply a translator or report on the one chosen by him: ...Der Autorisation wegen wollen Sie mir den Namen des Uebersetzers nennen, dem Sie die Aufgabe übertragen XXXXXX werden.
