Miksche, being 1944 'Thoughts on War' (Faber and Faber), 1941 'Dynamic Defence' (Faber and Faber Limited) complete in dust wrapper, 1936 'The War in Outline' (Faber and Faber Limited) complete in smart dust wrapper, inscribed 1953, and 1935 'Infanterie von Morgen' (Ludwig Boggenreiter Verlag). Complete with signed glazed photograph of Sir Basil Henry Liddell Hart dedicated to Miksche. Ferdinand Otto Miksche (1904-1992) was a Czech Captain and military historian, awarded the Medal of Freedom and Order of the Colonial Empire, and the author of a number of works on European military history. His friendship with Liddell Hart last until the latter's death in 1970. Despite his military theories and histories, Liddell Hart is perhaps better remembered for his biography of Lawrence of Arabia.
