Provenance : PRESENTATION COPY TO H. LING (inserted typed letter from the author to Ling, ½p., dated High Lea, 37 Odnall Road, Kidderminster, 11 October 1937, saying he is enclosing the book and continuing: "I hope you will agree that the portrait has been very nicely reproduced"). FIRST ISSUE, No. 4 OF 10 SIGNED COPIES. Padwick 8193.
