Isn't it wonderful? but appalling. It is more agreeable surely to be above ground..."; Two autograph free franks ("Lucretia R. Garfield Free") on envelopes addressed by her to Mrs. Childs and Mr. Stanley Brown, [1905] and n.d., the first with circular "South Pass, Ca." datestamp, the other without postmark, both on black-bordered envelopes.
