Philadelphia: [Benjamin Franklin Bache for] Federal Press, 1795; some spotting. Spurious letters circulated to undermine Washington's support of the Jay Treaty. Evans 28969 — Washington, George. Official Letters to the Honorable American Congress. London: Robinson et al., 1795. 2 volumes, uncut, contemporary boards, blue half-morocco slipcases; some marginal spotting.
