An elegant and refined piece by Poillerat enhanced by a superb marble top in excellent condition exhibiting rich variegated hues and colors ranging from eggshell to salmon pink, as pictured in the catalogue photography. The marble presents with light surface scratches throughout consistent with gentle use. The center of the table with an area of very light discoloration, possibly from use, which is not visually distracting. The iron base with expected oxidation to the metal throughout, also visible in the catalogue photography and consistent with age and the natural evolution of the medium. The metallic surfaces present with occasional irregularities which are inherent to production as well as scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions and wear consistent with age and use. An elegant and highly functional piece by a master of French Art Deco ironwork. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
