It measures 15.5x25.5 cm (6x10"). Additionally, there is an envelope with illustration of the Union Hotel in Nevada City, with stamp and 1895 Nevada City postmark; and an 8-page program and advertising vehicle for the 1900 Grand Mayday Picnic at Shebley's Park near Grass Valley. The Grand Ball was "Given in honor of the California Miners' Association XIV. Annual Convention by the Miner's Association of Nevada County, the banner gold mining county of California." The original owner of the dance card was kept busy during the evening, sitting out only one dance, a waltz. There his a historical sketch of Nevada County and its gold mining on the inside of the rear wrapper. "Wilson Collection" rubberstamped on front wrapper.
