Greetings Cards Four 19th century paper-lace cards, with ink MSS messages. One bears an engineered-paper, pull-tab novelty of a lady reading overlooked by a cherub bearing a torch overpainted on a concertina-fold cage enclosing a picture of a church and graveyard. The inscription reads ''Hail me safe to home'', it is perhaps to be hoped that the church suggests a marriage (or the Church as home) but it is possible the suggestion is the lady is a ghost, in the manner of ghost stories of the time.
