Lot of 20 images, including: 2 sixth plate daguerreotype portraits of a husband and wife, accompanied by inked note identifying the couple as Emily Manter Bradbury and Martin Bradbury, housed in pressed paper case, separated at spine. Research indicates that the Bradbury family lived in Fairfield, Somerset County, Maine. Scattered spotting on both plates. Sixth plate tintype of two young boys, accompanied by inked note identifying the subjects as probably Benjamin and Hiram Bradbury. Research indicates that these were likely children of Martin and Emily Bradbury. Housed in pressed paper case, separated at spine. Ninth plate ambrotype of a woman, accompanied by inked note identifying the sitter as Deborah Luce Manter, housed in pressed paper case. Research indicates that Deborah Luce Manter resided in Franklin County, Maine. Significant wear to plate. 16 loose, gem-sized tintype portraits of men, women, and children. Scattered scratches and surface wear to the portraits.
