Group of clipped signatures, letters and cards by prominent British politicians and peers, including first Prime Minister Sir Robert Walpole, John Bright (clipped signature), Arthur Balfour, Matthew White Ridley Herbert Gladstone (typed letter on 'War Refugees Committee' headed paper, 1914), George Nathaniel Curzon (autograph letter signed regarding the 'Lord Kitchener Memorial Fund', three pages, 1 Carlton House Terrace, 21 July 1916), racing manager Lord Marcus Beresford (typed letter signed, saying that the King presented the skeleton of the race horse Persimmon to the Natural History Museum, one page, 59 St James's Street, 3 February 1910), eighteenth century- c.1910s. (small quantity)
