The three parts comprise: European Turkey (including Constantinople and Greece); the Ottoman Islands (including Cyprus, Crete and Rhodes); and near Eastern Turkey (including Syria, Lebanon, Baghdad, Mecca, Medina and the Al-Hejaz).
