'HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE' (2001) / 'HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS (2002), THE DIRECTOR, CHRIS COLUMBUS'S NOTES MADE DURING THE FILM SOUND MIXES: a collection of creative and technical notes, including two A4 black ring binder notebooks, one of 105pp., a white camera tape label on the cover with a sketch of a pair of spectacles, marked '2' above the bridge of the glasses, the other notebook, 65pp., a loose sheet inserted marked ' 'Notes made by the Director Christopher Columbus on the first Harry Potter film' both notebooks mostly written in black ink, detailing changes to music, effects, and dialogue the director made during the pre- mixing sessions right through to final printmaster, numerous references to the characters including 'Tick Tock in Dumbledore's office', 'Louder door when Hagrid enters', 'Music too loud, ease in on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry too loud until lamp lit', 'Music stronger on Hello Harry Potter my name is Tom Riddley', 'Picture dissolve too long on Privet Drive', 'Malfoy's crying needs to be stronger', 'Fade up sound over Quidditch', 'When snake turns to Harry we need to synch him opening his mouth'; also a few ink doodle sketches, including one of Dumbledore, sold with with an A.D.R. (Additional Dialogue Recording) white shooting draft script for 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', used during an A.D.R session for the characters Ron, Harry, Draco and Aragog, 10 pages of dialogue script, the film title and date 23/10/01 to top of first page, highlighted throughout in coloured marker pens, 21cm x 15cm; also includes a 9 page Audio Track List, marked in pen on the front page 'H Potter Deleted Scenes fx chart!', highlighted throughout in colour marker pens.
