HEYMANN Geographische Verlag A 12 inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial globe made up of twelve coloured printed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, no ecliptic, the oceans with steamship routes with ports and nautical miles, telegraph and cable lines, ocean currents, trade winds and details such as Sargasso , the continents with nation states outlined in blue, yellow, orange, red, brown, green and showing rivers, mountain ranges and principle towns and cities ( some old surface marks, repaired cracks to Pacific Ocean ) with brass meridian half circle and finial ( replacement ) on turned mahogany and brass pillar with concave triangular base 24 inch (61.5cm.) high
