HOGARTH, William (1697-1764). A collection of engravings. [London: W. Hogarth, 18th century.] Large 2° (560 x 440mm). 72 engraved plates, some mounted 2 or 3 to a leaf. (Occasional light wear, occasional scattered spotting.) Early 19th-century russia, sides with gilt dotted line border, spine gilt in compartments and lettered directly, marbled edges (joints starting, spine foot chipped, corners rubbed). Provenance : Hugh Lupus, 1st Duke of Westminster (1825-1899; bookplate).
