This copy, like the New York Public Library copy described by Paulson as a second edition, comprises 107 plates: one fewer than in the first edition of 1790; evidently Boydell issued this edition without amending the list of plates. The plate not included in this copy is plate 65, the variant of St Paul preaching before Felix. Paulson Hogarth’s Graphic Works, p.20.
