PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed by Hooker on the half-title: "Wm. Gouslie Junr. Esq. from the Author. August 1841." 88 hand-colored engraved plates. Nissen BBI 916 (incorrectly calling for 92 plates); Stafleu & Cowan TL2 2987. Provenance : William Gouslie, Jr., presentation inscription from the author on half-title -- Kenneth K. Mackenzie; Horticultural Society of New York, bookplate -- Robert de Belder.
