Alphabetical Catalogue of Plants growing in the garden of Sir Thomas Hanbury ..at La Mortola, Ventimiglia, Italy, title foxed, modern cloth, 1912 § Stowe. A Description of the House and Gardens..., original cloth, faded and lightly damp-stained, 1838 § Wroth (Warwick) Cremorne and the later London Gardens, original cloth, 1907, some plates and illustrations, most rubbed; and another on Croome d'Abitot (defective), 8vo & 4to (6) *** Good group of scarce works on notable gardens. The first is an account of the garden established by Col.Stephenson Robert Clarke at Borde Hill, still one of the most comprehensive collections of trees and shrubs in the world. Thomas Hay was Superintendent of the Royal Parks. No copy is listed on COPAC, and only 3 copies of the second.
