James Lovell Jack Swigert or Fred Haise View of the exterior of the spacecraft heading back to Earth, with a view of the interior of the Lunar Module Apollo 13, 11-17 April 1970 Two vintage chromogenic prints on fiber-based paper, 20.3 x 25.4 cm (8 x 10 in), unreleased views, RED NUMBERED NASA AS13-62-8959 and NASA AS13-62-8900 and with A KODAK PAPER watermarks on the verso (NASA MSC) Footnotes: The first photograph was taken from the window of the Lunar Module Aquarius after Command and Service Module Odyssey was shut down to preserve its batteries and oxygen needed for re-entry. The Sun reflects over parts of the exterior of the Command Module. The second photograph shows the dark interior of the Lunar Module where the crew spent 3 days in very challenging conditions, surviving only in few degrees over the freezing temperature and on one-fifth of the water rations, trying to manoeuvre the craft by using the more rudimentary navigation system the Lunar Module was fitted with
