Signed, inscribed and dated by Charles Bukowski in silver ink on the front free endpaper: "The bars, the hospitals, the jails of the world will tell you everything you need to know. Charles Bukowski, 12-7-63." Bukowski's most beautifully produced book and the crowning achievement of Loujon Press, with a scarce inscription along with the signature. Laid in as well in a facsimile of an appreciative letter Bukowski wrote to the press after receiving his copy of the book. Dorbin A5; Krumhansl 12.
