.32 S&W. 3" barrel length. SN: 7865. Nickel finish with blued triggerguard and hard rubber Owl Head grips. Double-action 5-shot top-break auto-ejector revolver with knurled latch to left side of topstrap. Front blade and rear locking block notch sights. Item features an Iver Johnson's "Hammer the Hammer" safety mechanism. Barrel rib shows standard 2-line Iver Johnson marking reading IVER JOHNSON & CO. FITCHBURG MASS. U.S.A./PAT'D MAY 10. 87. DEC. 20. 93. PAT'S PENDING. Scattered indentations to topstrap filled in with nickel suggesting a possible refinish. Barrel mounting screw has been replaced. Condition: Very Good. Bore is frosty with two patches of light pitting. Bluing to triggerguard is weak with some flaking and loss overall, patches of brown patina forming within losses, and traces of oxidation along left side of triggerguard at seam with frame. Nickel finish is Very Good with some traces of patina forming in left barrel rib and some losses along edges. Flaking at left edge of topstrap. Grips retain fine details to logos and checkering with some scratches. Action of revolver times and indexes correctly with some wiggle to lockup.
