The flat upper part with three ridges mirrored between higher ridge, curved horns with flat curved ears and two large concave eye sockets with cylindrical protruding eyes. According to the Baule, this zoomorphic helmet mask represents a synthesis of bush cow, antelope, and crocodile. The goli glin character, considered the oldest member of the goli mask group, wears an elaborate costume of fresh palm fibers and antelope skin. It is danced in a wild and rapid performance.
