Jacobite interest: an 18th century silver hanoverian pattern tablespoon, struck once with a P mark, unascribed, c.1745, with double drop, the front of the terminal engraved with a Royal Crown above Henry Stuart with a Cardinal s Hat below, the reverse with RP , 21cm long, 2oz Henry Benedict Maria Clement Thomas Francis Xavier Stuart was born on 11 March 1725 in Rome and died 13 July 1807. He was Prince of England and of Scotland, Duke of York and Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He was known as Henry IX & I King of England, Scotland, France and Ireland (31 January 1788 - 13 July 1807). He was the second son of James Francis Edward Stuart, known as 'The Old Pretender'.
