The Proceedings touching the Divorce betwixt the Lady Frances Howard, and Robert Earl of Essex..., III. A Declaration of his Majesties Revenue with Assignations and Defalcations upon the same..., IV. The Commissions and Warrants for the Burning of two Hereticks..., 1st edition, London: Printed for Michael Sparke, 1651, additional engraved allegorical title with facing letterpress explanatory leaf (engraved title remargined), engraved portrait plate of Sir Thomas Overbury, engraved portrait plate of Robert Earl of Somerset and Lady Frances Howard (trimmed to ruled border and remargined), without blank V4, "A compleat table of the several chapters of this historical narration ... which may serve in stead of an index" bound at the beginning (following "The stationer to the impartial reader", the complete table is sometimes bound at the rear of the volume), repairs to outer blank corners of last two leaves, occasional light dust-soiling, later endpapers with bookplates of the Russell family (bearing motto 'che sara sara'), C.A.O. Fox and Egerton Parker, early 19th-century calf, rebacked, 4to, together with: Prideaux (Mathias), An Easy and Compendious Introduction for Reading all sorts of Histories: contrived, in a more facile way then heretofore hath been published, out of the papers of Mathias Prideaux Mr of Arts and sometime fellow of Exeter Colledge in Oxford, Oxford: Leonard Lichfield, and are to be sold by Thomas Robinson 1650, title in red and black with early marginalia (modern bookplate of Egerton Parker to verso), small hole to final leaf of index, light damp staining, contemporary calf, joints split, rubbed, 4to, plus a defective copy of Howell (James), Epistolae Ho-Elianae. Familiar Letters Domestic and Forren. Divided into sundry Sections, Partly Historicall, Politicall, Philosophicall, 3rd edition, with a fourth volume of new letters, never published before, London: Humphrey Moseley, 1655, title in red & black, without folding engraved frontispiece, index incomplete at rear (lacking final 8 pages), sewing weak, contemporary calf, covers near detached, 8vo, and two others, The True Secret History of the Lives and Reigns of all the Kings and Queens of England... by a Person of Honour, 1702, and [Mandeville, Bernard], The Fable of the Bees: or, Private Vices, Publick Benefits.
