Glue relined. Frame rubbing, with corresponding inpaint. There are seams running through the upper, lower, right and left register. It is possible that the canvas was pieced together before it was painted. The upper and lower seam runs 3 1/2 inches from the edge and the right and left seams run 2 3/8 inches from the edges. All seams have corresponding inpaint. There is an area of inpaint, 3 x 7 inches in the sky at the upper left corner. 1 x 1 inch L-shaped repaired tear in the sky at the upper left quadrant. Some touches of inpaint in the curls of the woman's hair. Dense varnish, unable to detect further restoration under Uv light.
