Provenance : a few leaves with marginalia in an early hand; "C.G." (ink stamp on a2); Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplate; purchased from Dawson's Bookshop, Los Angeles, 1 August 1941); donated to SMS 1941. Johannes Capreolus's defense of St. Thomas's teachings did much to revive the authority of Thomism against the attacks of Henry of Ghent, Duns Scotus, Durandus of St.-Pourçain and William of Ockham.
