Narrative of the Surveying Voyages of His Majesty's Ships Adventure and Beagle, 4 vol. including Appendix to vol. 2, first edition, John Lort Stokes' copy with his ink signature in vol. I, vol. I presentation copy to Stokes from ?John Septimus Roe with his ink inscription: "J.L. Stokes October 1831 From J.R.", and vol. IV presentation copy from ?Robert FitzRoy with ink inscription (not in FitzRoy's hand): "J.L.
