KAWARA, ON. I MET. 12 volumes, complete (one volume for each year chronologically sequenced from 1968-1979 as indicated on spines). Each volume illustrated with profusion of photographic reproductions of typed list of names separated by divisional titles with the various geographical locations noted. 8vo, publisher's grey linen, front covers and spines lettered in black; original black cardboard case, with the fitted folding lid that has become neatly detached at the glued flap along the back, easily repaired. Number 41 of 90 copies signed by the artist in the final volume. The total edition also includes 10 artist's proofs. Throughout the duration of the twelve year project, the artist noted daily the names of the people with whom he conversed as recorded here.
