Chaucer and Troy types, printed in red and black, 2 full-page woodcut borders, initials by William Morris (Faint scattered spotting to edges.) Original limp vellum, yapp edges, spine lettered in gilt, silk ties (two ties lacking, as often, and one detached and laid-in). Provenance : Edward Hilton Young, 1st Baron Kennet (1879-1960, politician and writer; gift inscription from his tutor, ‘H.G.’ [?], dated Eton, Christmas 1896).
