The map is "Guide Map of The City of San Francisco compiled from the Official Surveys & Engraved Expressly For Langley's San Francisco Directory 1885." It measures 50.5x63 cm; the back is taken up with an ad for the Carvill Manufacturing Company, producers of fine carriages. It has some short tears where glued to the title-page (as issued), and a few other tears, tape repairs on verso. Lot Amendments Condition: Spine strip mostly perished, with some fragments of it laid in, boards well rubbed; some minor darkening and aging within, very good. Item number: 277266
