Beschreibung:

14" platform and 11" to top of Central Felix. Lithographed tin. The central Felix is 9" tall. The two small Felix figures in back are each 5" tall. The red mice are 4" tall. Windup works. Felix moves his legs when toy operates. Copyright Pat Sullivan. Nifty trademark. Made in the U.S.A. by J. Chein. One of only four known examples. Very rare. Some minor scratching to figures and base. Also some minor scratches to one side of platform and wear to wheels. This giant oversized tin windup toy was too easily breakable contributing to its scarcity. Likely in production for only one year (1926) due to breakage factor. In order to get a better idea of the scale of this toy, set it next to the standard Felix chasing two mice platform toy and compare. The ultimate Felix toy. Should be considered one of the top 10 comic character tin toys of all time. Provenance: Gary Selmonsky Collection. Condition: (Excellent). Item Dimensions: 13 - 1/4" x 10 - 3/4".
