This is an extensive lot of WWI-WWII US insignia that includes patches, wings, DIs, and rank insignia. There are two small groupings contained in the lot, the first being (A) ID'D to Charles E. Shoup who was a member of the 977th Signal Service Company. His small grouping includes 2 pairs of dog tags, patches, 108th Cavalry DIs, paperwork listing him as a member of the 977th Sig Sv Co, German insignia, a pack of unopened cigarettes, photos, and a small souvenir painted tile. (B) The second small group is from Warren W. Weidner, who was a member of the 313th Infantry Regiment of the 79th Infantry Division. The small insignia lot contains 79th ID patches, rank insignia, and dog tags. (C) Riker mount of insignia including 4 beautifully painted 407th IR DIs made in Nurnberg. Six screw back 106th IR DIs, 8 4th Cavalry DIs, pinback and screw back, and 2 69th IR DIs, one screw back one pin back. (D) Riker mount containing a large amount of DIs and collar insignia ranging from WWI-Post WWII. Some are screw back, theater made, most are modern. (E) Large lot of WWI-WWII Patches. Some highlights include beautiful bullion AAF patches, Wool back division patches, Chemical Mortar Battalion patches, and tank destroyer patches. Also included is miscellaneous insignia, including silver marked wings, and more collar insignia.
