This lot includes 4 metal travel trunks with dress uniforms, insignia, wool blankets, personal pictures of family and friends, military pictures, "Sam Brown" belt, boots, duffle bag, fraternal swords, 2 French bayonets, Zouave bayonet, machete, ID bracelet, dog tags, clock, compass, tax returns, stock certificates, leather .38 cartridge box, service records, sleeping bag, 2 campaign hats, 2 dress visor caps, Keds gym shoes, sweat pants and shirts, toy soldiers (Manoil USA, Barlay), toy Harley Davidson rider, and much more. Major Tyler was an Army medical officer in WWI and WWII. This is a fabulous snapshot of his life and his service to his country. Condition: The consignor states she found this archive in the attic of a house she bought in Brown County, OH. It has remained untouched since the late 1940s or early 1950s. Condition ranges from good to excellent on most items.
