Original glossy red wrappers, lithographed illustration and title mounted on front cover, and a further label mounted on the back cover (re-backed and repaired, light wear). FIRST EDITION OF THIS HIGH-POINT OF EXPERIMENTATION -- ONE OF THE BEST REALIZED RUSSIAN AVANT-GARDE BOOKS, in which text and illustrations work closely to unlock meaning. Pomada marks the first publication of a transrational, 'zaum', poem -- Kruchenikh's radical method to free Russian poetry from convention.
