Frazier attended the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (BFA), Syracuse University (MFA), the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program. She has been awarded the Guna S. Mundheim Fellow for Visual Arts at the American Academy in Berlin and a MacArthur Fellowship.
