PRESENTATION COPY INSCRIBED BY LEE FRIEDLANDER TO ARNOLD CRANE, photographer and photo-historian: "To Arnold -- This is a real mistake and if you turn it back to Haywire within the next ten minutes & a good copy will be sent to you with best pages -- Lee".
