Figural lamp has bronze base of young girl holding a Japanese lantern and staring down into the lantern. The bronze figure is finished in a gold patina and signed on the side of the foot "LEO LAPORTE-BLAIRSY". The Japanese lantern is glass with cameo fish on the side as well as an oval plaque with Japanese writing. The glass lantern shades from frosted clear to frosted cranberry and has bronze mounts at the top and bottom. Signed on the underside of the glass visible through the opening for the light is "DAUM NANCY" with the Cross of Lorraine. Glass is very good to excellent. Bronze is very good. A pin that goes into the bottom of the lantern has apparently broken off and there are remnants of glue used to hold the lantern in place. A new pin should be installed. Otherwise, very good.
