Inscribed and signed, with four seals of the artist Note: Situated in Li Keran's hometown, the Crane-Releasing Pavilion sits at the peak of the Cloud Dragon Mountain, in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province. Built for the hermit Zhang Tianyi in 1078, the pagoda inspired many paintings and poems. In particular, Su Shi's Memoirs of the Crane-Releasing Pavilion caused both the mountain and pavilion to become famous and have since become well-known scenic spots.
