Lloyd Ostendorf (American, 1921-2000), noted Lincoln historian and commercial artist of Dayton, Ohio, published five important books on Lincoln including Lincoln in Photographs (1963), a compilation of every known image of the sixteenth president. His obituary in the Chicago Tribune described him as "the definitive cataloger of Lincoln." Condition: Not examined outside frame. Excellent condition overall.
