White; Keystone View Co.; American Stereoscopic Co.; International Stereograph Co.; and Universal Photo Art Co. Nice overall look at his life and career--2 portraits with his family; 6 portraits of Taft seated, one with his wife; 2 with his wife at Middle Bass Island, Ohio; speaking at Tiffin, Ohio and Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Taft speaking to Arthur I. Vorys, 1908; shaking hands with engineer of his train (locomotive partly seen at left); 2 of Gunnison Tunnel Opening, 1909 at Montrose, Colorado--arriving in auto under welcome arch and touching golden bell to flood tunnel; 12 H.C. White views of Inauguration and Keystone #26331 of Supreme Court calling at White House with Chief Justice Taft out front. Finally a First Day Cover for the Senator Robert A. Taft 4 cent postage stamp. Robert Taft is seen as a boy in the family portraits. Gray curved mount. Provenance: The Ed Burchard Stereoview Collection Condition: Overall bright and clear on clean mounts except Gunnison Tunnel auto/arch view is damaged at upper left corner, otherwise images and mount are fine. Burchard has made a penned notation on the lower left recto of the Supreme Court view. Otherwise fine.
