Lot consists of: (A) World War II unengraved slot brooch Purple Heart with dog tags, various pins, and insignia. The Purple Heart is numbered "407348" on the lower right side. The dog tags are named to "Curran L.K." and are the early war type which feature the next of kin information. The group also includes air corps pins, the larger pin is marked "Sterling" and the smaller is marked "AE CO / Utica / NY". There is also a pin back 22nd Infantry Regiment DI and various VFW pins. The group is contained in a Anne Klein box. CONDITION: some of the pins exhibit tarnishing, some remain clean. Overall good. (B) WWII unengraved slot brooch Purple Heart with Combat Infantry Badge and paper work attributed to John A. Cruse. Cruse was a member of the 379th Infantry Regiment, 95th Infantry Division and earned the medal for wounds received in France on November 12, 1944. The Purple Heart is numbered "159060" on the lower left side. There are also copies of the document that authorized Cruse to wear the Purple Heart and a copy of the document that authorized Cruse to wear the CIB. CONDITION: The medal is clean, case exhibits scattered blemishes, and the paper has yellowed and worn with age. Overall good. (C) Unengraved and unnumbered slot brooch Purple Heart with dog tags and screw back US collar disc. The dog tags are named to "Thomas F.
