(A) Brown Leather Cased Binoculars. The binoculars are made of brass and retain approximately 90% of their original field green paint. The optics are clear, and the dials are slightly stiff. A leather neck strap with lens cover is still attached to the binoculars. The green binoculars are housed in a leather case. The case shows were throughout, one broken closure tab, and the rear leather flap is almost detached. The interior of the case still has some of the original felt lining, and manufacturer's label on the top of the lid. CONDITION: Overall Very Good. (B) Cased Binoculars by "O.H. Meder". The binoculars are made of brass and white metal, and retain approximately 85% of their original black paint. The binoculars are marked with "Dienstglas" and the number "134680". The dials are still functioning, and the optics are clear. The leather case shows signs of aging and wear throughout. The lid has become detached from the body. The top of the lid has the manufacturers name of "O.H. Meder, Leipzig". CONDITION: Overall Very Good. (C) Cased Binoculars with Snap Button Closure. The "Spindler & Hoyer" binoculars are made of white metal, and retain approximately 98% of their original gloss black paint. The dial adjustments still function, and the optics are clear. The case is made of leather with a snap button on the leather closure tab. The leather retains approximately 95% of it;'s original black lacquering with some scattered light marks. CONDITION: Overall Near Mint. (D) Green "Spindler and Hoyer" Binoculars. The binoculars retain approximately 90% of their original green paint. The optics are clear and the dials functioning. CONDITION: Very Good. (E) Goetz Binoculars with Leather Neck Strap. The binoculars show even wear throughout, and retain approximately 70% of their original paint. The optics are are clear, and the dials functioning. One of the eye pieces has a chip. A period replacement leather neck strap is attached. CONDITION: Good. (F) Bincoculars with Green Dials. The binoculars retain approximately 70% of their original black paint. The eye caps and dials are green in color with scattered marks throughout. The optics are clear, and the dials functioning. CONDITION: Very Good. (G) Zeiss Binoculars with Cord Neck Strap. The binoculars retain approximately 90% of their original black paint with scattered marks throughout.
