Trinquier-Trianon is mostly remembered for his stylized Art Nouveau travel posters from the turn-of-the-century. For this spa town, located near Auvergne in the center of France, he illustrates an elegant lady being served a cup of curative water by a servant dressed in the regional attire. The landscape is depicted in a straightforward, descriptive way, and the entire image is captured within thick Art Nouveau curves and punctuated with extravagant typography.
