Lot consists of (A) Chinese Norinco Type 56 SKS semi automatic rifle with scope. Made in China circa 1980s. Import marked on the right side of the receiver. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, carrier, and trigger group. Magazine does not match. Standard round steel chrome lined barrel with hooded post front sight and rear sight adjustable to 1000 meters. Bayonet lug is still intact, but no bayonet is present. Factory blued finish on the metal components with the colt still left in the white. ATI style folding polymer stock with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Incudes unmarked laser, and bipod, both attached to the barrel. A Tasco red dot is mounted on an aftermarket dust cover as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Stock is excellent as well. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Accessories are all fine overall. Laser and red dot do not currently work (may need new batteries). (B) Chinese Norinco Type 56 SKS semi automatic rifle with scope. Made in China circa 1980s. Rifle was not disassembled to check the serial number on the bolt, due to the scope being mounted. Round, steel, chrome lined, barrel with ground bayonet lug. Hooded, post front sight with rear tangent u-notch sight adjustable to 1000 meters. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Gloss finished Monte Carlo style aftermarket stock, with a wooden butt plate. A non factory 5 round blued steel magazine was installed. Incudes attached Weaver K4 scope with crosshair reticle. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with light handling marks and scratches. Stock is excellent as well. Bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent with a clear optic.
